If you’ve been keeping up-to-date with our news via the blog or on our Twitter or LinkedIn (which I’m sure you have!), then you’ll know that we supported one of our clients, Newham New Deal Partnership, in their application to the Aviva Community Fund.
Newham NDP applied for vital funds to keep their effective and beneficial @Online Clubs running during 2017. The @Online Clubs provide training on iPads and tablets to help the older generation interact and socialise with family and friends online, as well as complete day to day tasks such as registering for council services and paying bills.

Newham NDP won the funding and the first cohort of Aviva-funded @Online learners have just graduated!

Having worked with Newham NDP from the beginning of the funding bid, our marketing man, Mike, was invited to join the final session of this class to congratulate attendees and pass out their certificates of completion.
“It was an honour to see such a lovely group of people so enthused by the potential for technology. They were skyping each other across the room and creating complicated user accounts that required mobile phone verification and more. I was very impressed.”
As a partner of Aviva, we are able to support Aviva Community Fund applications. By being submitted with the support of an Aviva broker, your entry is entered into more categories and, as such, may have a higher chance of success. However, all Aviva Community Funding is based on votes cast in your favour by the general public.
If you would be interested in having CaSE Insurance support for your Aviva Community Fund bid, please email us on ACF@caseinsurance.co.uk with details of the amount of funding you are seeking and the project that you would like the funding for. We will then select one project to support in this year’s Aviva Community Fund.[/vc_column][/vc_row]
