The Three Peaks Challenge has been taken on with relish, by the adventurous Joseph Horner a charity underwriter at CaSE and a group of his fearless friends. A keen supporter of Oliver’s Wish, he is hoping to raise £10,000 which will then be distributed by the charity to The Lullaby Trust, Sparks and Chestnut Tree House.
Everyone at CaSE HQ has got behind Joseph during his preparation for this mammoth challenge! We’re backing him at every protein-packed meal, weekend of workouts and evening treks over the local Surrey Hills.
Introducing the National Three Peaks Challenge: this colossal event involves climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland. Joseph and Co. are planning on completing this within 24 hours! Catching 40 winks whenever possible – mainly during the journeys between the peaks – they will be pushing themselves to the extremes in these three dramatic ascents and descents.
Introducing Joseph Horner: one of the outstanding underwriters supporting CaSE Insurance’s thousands of charity clients, Joseph admits to not having played regular sport in over 5 years and feels that this will be a genuine challenge for him to complete (although we all have confidence in him!). Surrounded by a team 10, who have branded themselves the ‘ambitious idiots’, you will have to wait until July 15th to hear if they’ve been successful!
